Speaker Requirements: A 3.75 GPA or above and at least 60 credits at the University of Maryland and
will graduate in May 2012.

Please send the information below to: speaker@umd.edu

  1. A resume

  2. Personal statement describing individual achievements and aspirations (no more than two pages)

  3. Draft of possible commencement speech (2-4 minutes long)

  4. 2-3 Letters of recommendation (at least one letter from a faculty member) sent individually from each reference.

  5. Please also email an electronic/digital copy of your unofficial transcript. You may access a copy of your transcript from Testudo by visiting http://www.testudo.umd.edu/apps/uotrans/ .

Important: Type Commencement Speaker and your LAST Name in the email subject field of email.

Send information no later than 5pm on Friday, March 23, 2012.
