Who Can Apply: U.S. citizen and permanent resident students

Description: VIA provides innovative experiential learning programs in Asia and the United States that promote cross-cultural understanding, build partnerships, and offer transformative experiences for our participants and the communities they serve.

 

VIA has worked with schools and grassroots organizations in Asia for nearly 50 years to support education, community development, and cultural exchange. Our current one-year program is designed to increase capacity at our partner institutions while building volunteers’ professional and cultural competencies. Volunteers join a vibrant network of alumni who have distinguished themselves in the fields of education, international development, government, health, and business.

 

Program Preferences: VIA does NOT require any specific educational background, prior language training, teaching or overseas experience, although any of these is a plus.

Program Fees: Vary by opportunity.

National Deadline: Rolling basis until full.
