Early Identification Program

The Early Identification Program (EIP) sponsored by the National Scholarships Office (NSO) is an enrichment program for academically outstanding freshmen and sophomores. Participants in our Honors, College Park Scholars, Gemstone, Civicus, and McNair programs take part, as well as any student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.7 or above.

EIP offers you informative sessions on nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships, opportunities to meet with foundation representatives, small group sessions to help you identify your academic and career aspirations, and tips on creating competitive scholarship applications. On completing the program, you can expect to have a greater understanding of unique opportunities for intellectual growth and stronger academic goals.

EIP Brown Bag Lunch Sessions

These small group advising sessions will focus on you and your academic and career goals. You are strongly encouraged to attend one of these events; only 10 students will be registered per session, so please register early! Be sure to indicate the specific date(s) you are available.

All workshops are scheduled from 12 pm – 1 pm in the National Scholarships Office, Room 0104A, Armory Building.
