The University Senate established  the position of Undergraduate Student Ombudsperson after strong advocacy by student senators.  The position reports to the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs and Dean for Undergraduate Studies.

The Undergraduate Student Ombudsperson is one member in a campus team of four ombuds offices, with the other three providing support for faculty, staff, and graduate students.
