If You are a New UMD Student (freshman, transfer, or returning),
Please review the New General Education Program Effective Dates Document.

Beginning in fall 2012, the new General Education program, GENERAL EDUCATION@UMD, replaces the CORE Program. New freshmen for fall 2012 and after will follow the General Education@UMD Program.
